Love

Every day, every experience, I feel blessed to have the opportunities to experience life in the ways I do.

Love tends to be a very subjective thing.  I have been fortunate enough to have felt love my entire life, from both family and friends.  As a teenager, I was for a long time confused about the idea, and unfortunately linked love and sexuality, thinking that they had some sort of mythical relationship which I was incapable of understanding.  Through my travels, I have come to recognize that love is simply another way to explain caring for another individual, and has no constraints whatsoever.

I have been able to view this somewhat objectively as I have experienced the lack of love in addition to the experience which I am more familiar with.  It truly takes experiencing relationships with absolutely no love, no caring, nothing at all, to truly appreciate love in all of it's varied forms.

Those relationships which do mean something; honestly, those which mean almost anything, are more important than most of you can imagine.  Do not take the idea that you share mutual care for someone lightly- I have seen life without it, and it is ugly.  Take the time out of your life to tell those whom you love that, well, you love them.  There is no time better spent.

Though chocolate ice cream does come close...
